Return & Shipping Policy

FREIGHT CHARGES

Daily freight charges for passenger tires are applicable as per below.

  • Your order may be subject to shipping charges, based on the number of tires (quantity), your location and where the inventory is located within our network. At check out, you will see the cost of shipping at the end of the process of placing an order. To know more about the Estimated Time of Delivery of your order and/or the cost of shipping attached to it, you should contact our Customer Service Desk. Please note that given the volatile shipping environment, charges will change regularly. We will do our best to mitigate the costs.
  • Customers selecting to ship from secondary or tertiary warehouses will be subject to additional freight charges.
  • Areas that are serviced by “quote” will be provided costing of the freight charges to ship the order before processing and invoiced accordingly.
  • Other products such as oversize, AG, MT, TBR, are subject to additional freight charges
  • Expedited delivery requests may incur additional freight charges.
  • Due to fluctuations in fuel costs, rates etc., beyond Canada Tire’s control, all freight charges are subject to change or modification at any time.

RETURN CONDITIONS

  • Returns of any merchandise must be approved by Canada Tire in advance and have a RO number provided. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  • Authorization can be provided by a Customer Service Representative, or requested through your Territory Manager, reached at the contact below:

  • Accepted returns will be credited to your account.
  • If product is being returned from outside a LOCAL delivery zone, return must be sent ‘prepaid’ by the customer.
  • Expected pick up times for returns in Local delivery zones may take up to 1 week due to seasonal volumes.
  • All returns deem to be resalable must be return in sellable condition.  If not, then the reimbursement will be cancelled for that item and quantity.  Any cleaning required to the products to bring it to sellable condition such as markings, additional labeling, glue applied, dirty etc. will incur a $10 fee per tire. 
  • Neither FINAL SALE nor special order items will be accepted for return.
  • Returns for an amount that surpasses 5% of the previous year’s purchase volume or 10% of a booking require authorization from Canada Tire’s Credit Manager and may not be accepted.
  • Subject to the other conditions outlined here, only items purchased within the last year will be accepted for return.
  • Canada Tire reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
